OUR WORK
The wildlife-livestock-human interface
For the past 2 decades, we have specialized in documentary films that focus on the dynamics and ecological complexities of the wildlife-livestock-human interface in Southern Africa’s vast conservation areas. Together with specialists, veterinary scientists and academics we explore new approaches to control diseases. Sound scientific solutions are introduced to improve the livelihood of cattle farmers in wildlife areas as well as ensuring the conservation of Southern Africa’s priceless wildlife heritage. This has become even more critical with climate change.
In order to understand the dynamics of transmission at the wildlife-domestic interface, we explore diseases such as Foot-and-mouth disease, Bovine tuberculosis, Corridor disease and Brucellosis. We also produced veterinary academic films to explain the history, epidemiology, clinical signs, diagnosis and control of African horse sickness, Classical swine fever and Rift Valley fever.
